Overview

At the moment in which Fort Sumter is fired upon, an oak branch falls upon the head of a singular young man, Nathan Feist.

It's God's way of summoning Feist to the Garden of Eden. God asks Feist to stop the gathering war as quickly as possible. In exchange, He will show him paradise.

This is an offer any sane man would refuse. But Feist feels differently. And off he goes, a self-proclaimed modern Moses, leading a ragtag bunch through many major battles, meeting Presidents, preachers, and fabulous villains in an attempt to bring world peace for all times.

God, however, also has other plans.

About the Author

Stephen Geller is a novelist, screenwriter, playwright, and professor. Among his many films and documentaries, Geller'si adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse-Five" won the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival; his international mini-series, "Warburg: A Man of Influence," garnered the Silver Bear Award, for Best International Mini-series. His television documentaries have won the Peabody Award, as well as the Connecticut Governor-General's Medal.

Geller has lived in Rome and in Paris for a good part of his life, working in the international film industries, as well as in Hollywood.

At present he teaches Shakespeare, Satire, and creative writing at Savannah College of Art and Design, where he lives with his dancing daughter, his writing/designing/acting wife, and an enormous ark of animals.

He writes daily, while awaiting the deluge.
