Obsidian Ridge was the first "Citadels" book I read, only buying it because of how cool the front cover looked. Now that I have read it I am pleased to say it was worth the 8 dollars I paid for it. Intense action, fearless heroes, an insane mage and a horde of savage beasts under his command, what more can one ask for? This story has several good developed characters and a plot that seems to get crazier and crazier. Add this to your collection if you enjoy such stories

Excellent book. It was very fast paced and the storyline was very descriptive. The characters were very imaginative and the action was relentless. If you like fantasy / action books, this book is for you!!
