Written in the same fashion as the publishing company's work, Philip Manning tells the story of Dakota, a Hadrosaur from the Late Cretaceous that discovered in 1999 by Tyler Lyson in the North Dakota Badlands in the Hell Creek Formation that up until now has been by the far the best preserved dinosaur specimen. Manning has years of experience with writing, discussing, and translating some of science's most difficult language in easy comprehendible material so that any non-specialist can leave with knowledge good enough for basic science conversational language. If Dinosaurs are your thing, and story telling is your reading style then this is your book, it flows very well, and I had it finished in less three days.
