The book is a good book for general learning. Some of the photographs are fuzzy, and I don't like some of the explanation of knots. But the instructions are good and most of the illustrations are very good. I bought this book to learn some of the basic knots for climbing and rappelling, and this book had all of these knots. I'm very happy.

This book is a clearly illustrated book showing MANY knots. Do I use it everyday- no. But, when I need to restring the clothes line or something, it's very handy!

Many, many interesting and unusual knots. Well and beautifully illustrated and easy to follow. Even if you've got Ashley's... I'll bet you'll learn something new.
