Let your guard down and allow yourself the time to enjoy the simple things in life; things that are not necessarily a priority, but are impportant for your mind and soul to enjoy. Take some time to do things that are not stressful, and maybe things you have always wanted to do, but decided they were silly and unevenful and passed them by. I relate this book to all the times I have spent doodling during situations and events that have not held my interest (but the doodling did!). Carry it with you as you do your daytimers, purses, keys, laptops, cell phones, etc. Take it out when you are waiting at the doctor's office, during a very long meeting, traveling, stuck in traffic, or just because you own it and it's all about you. It's like a creative and innovative diary that you can look back on after "all is said and done"; you'll want to give this book to friends who also are of the exploring nature, and who would welcome time to get away from the mundane, everyday rituals that seem to creep into our lives at some point or another. I thank Keri Smith for opening my eyes to realizing that sometimes there just doesn't have to be a purpose, or a reason, or a deadline for everything in life; you do it just because you can, and whenever you choose!!

I bought this book, after realizing it helped me with my creativity and imagination. Anyone can read it, it is inspiring. It may not be a STORY, but it helps you with your LIFE story. Your creativity gets powered up with this book. Helps you realize the un-seen possibilties.

For a person wanting to increase the playfulness in their lives this book does just that. In addition, it can be used to spark playfulness in relationships when both participate in the activities presented in the book. The book is definitely for the artistic, writer type, not necessarily for the serious reader. The other use for it would be in working with coaching clients or counseling clients who have a goal of getting out of a rut...living life more fully and playfully. I loved the book in that way!
