This was a well written and easy to understand book on what a ghost may be, common tools of the trade and there are many little examples on what I've seen other novice 'and not so novice' ghost hunters doing wrong in their pursuit to immitate 'the' Ghost Hunters. 'Do you really think that you see the whole investigation and work on an hour TV program?' On the down side, the text falls short on some of the more problemmatic issues that the novice hunter has such as how to actually find haunted places and methods of making contact with prospective investigation locations. Still, the book is a must have for anyone wanting information and a solid basic understanding of ghost hunting in an easy to understand format.

This is by far the best book on ghosts that I've ever read and I've read tons. I was able to learn about what equipment to use and how to use it. Joshua communicates well and is an expert on these matters. I highly recommend all of his books.

This book spends considerable time exploring different hypotheses of what ghosts are and how they emerge in our world. It's fascinating and mind-blowing and really makes you look at ghost-hunting and the paranormal in a brand-new way. It also covers the basics of ghost hunting itself. Definitely worth it!

I lost my copy a week or so ago and that really bothered me. Why? Because it was one of the most informative and helpful books on ghost hunting I've ever come across. And I've got to tell you I've got a damn library of books on the subject. It's a really useful and almost useful as a damn text book if I was going to teach a class on ghost hunting. Well worth the $11.95. I really liked how it explained how different equipment worked and how it's believed why it can detect spirits. Just a huge amount of insight that really helpped. Just a really good job! Damn good job Joshua. Man, you must really have alot of experience or you're very observant or probly both. Hey, when you go on a ghost hunt give me a call.
