There are some really bad mistakes in this book, like the opportunity cost equations, for example, but the rest of the book is just perfect. I used this in conjunction with the Princeton Review book for 2008, and I got a 5! I read through this barron's book first, since it was really detailed and explained everything perfectly, and then I read the quick summaries and did the practice questions in the princeton review books. The combo was really great. I definitely do not regret purchasing this book. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten a lower score without it. By the way, I took the 2008 exam.
This book is extremely well written and has some notable features that differentiate it from other AP review books. Not only are the free response questions right on as examples of real AP style questions, the general review is also extremely informative. The logical division of the material makes understanding it much easier. Also, the book clearly differentiates between what is very important to know (information that almost always appears on the AP exam) and what only appears sparingly. The only weak point of this book is the multiple choice questions, which are generally far too easy to ever appear on an AP exam; they put too much emphasis on recall and not enough on logical application of material. However, in general, this book provides an amazing review that prepares anyone for the exam. I accredit my 5 to this book.
