This series is THE BEST!!! I absolutely love it! (Even tho I know what happens up through Vol. 17, which hasn't been released in America yet). Reasons why this series is so cool: 1) Inu is too cute!! 2)There's this really involved plot that has lots of mythology and things in it (Gods, demons, priestesses, etc.) 3)The really involved plot is REALLY well written. It is DEFINITELY a credit to Takahashi (not that she even needs more credit after all her other best-selling series! everyone should read them too!) 4)REALLY COOL SUBPLOT!!! The Inu/Kagome/Kikyo triangle really makes things interesting. It's well done, and gives the characters a lot of depth. All of the characters have multiple dimensions, which makes the series a lot of fun to read. 5) THE SITS!!! (and the other funny stuff!) One of the great points about this series is that it can be funny, macabre, angsty, and deep all in the space of a few pages. (More Takahashi genius!) Oh, and any current otaku (fans) who are interested in writing, E-mail me! I'm not allowed to put URLs up on this thing!!
