I'm an experience web developer and always wanted to get into JavaScript. I took a chance buying this book. Within the first few pages I was writing working JavaScripts. I didn't come up for air until I was a quarter through the book. That's a good sign because I bail out of most books without finishing the first chapter. Good job.

Don't sweat the small stuff when it comes to JavaScript. That should be the subtitle because the author covers just enough to get you going with JavaScript and DHTML. Not a lot of technical stuff that you rarely end up using. Straight to the point. Here's the feature and here's what you need to do to use it in your web page. This is surprisingly good considering the price. No regrets of putting this on my bookshelf.

Great book. Right to the point. Cuts out a lot of needless stuff that you find in other JavaScript books. This is the one to get if you want to build that commercial flare into your site. You'll be up and running in no time.

The author has covered this topic very well. All the features anyone could ever want to build into a web page are illustrated. I simply cut and pasted code including all those features found on web pages the pros build. The only thing unexpected is the price. Great price. Great read. It doesn't weigh you down either. I found this a welcome addition to my web library.
