Young, beautiful, thirty-year-old Emma Wilson arrives by taxi in a small tourist town at 7:55 a.m. Her clothes are filthy, her appearance disheveled. She has no purse, no wallet, no luggage, but her back pocket is stuffed with hundred dollar bills. She's also carrying a credit card belonging to Jack Russell, the town's most eligible bachelor, who hasn't been seen

This book lost me half way thur. The bar scene was where it started going wrong. The ending was just not believable and just left you hanging. I hope the author goes back to writting Donavan Creed books.

Its a shame. Mr. Locke obviously has talent; "Kill Jill" starts well, lots of intrigue, mysterious things to be revealed. But the story soon breaks down into gratutous sex, then sadism, and ends with no ending at all. I slogged through the sewer looking for a climax, a resolution for all the violence. Nothing! The central character (Cannot call him "hero") is left maimed & naked, roaring down the highway with no destination. If I had paid $0.01 for this it would have been a waste of my money.
