The text flows very well and is easy to understand. The author does not tilt one way or the other, he covers both his accomplishments and his character flaws that lead to his mistakes and finishes the story off with a fair analysis of how historians and the public view Johnson today. The story of Lyndon Johnson is a captivating one and this concise edition does him justice.
