If you are familiar with Tagalog pronounciation, (although there is a lot of explanation in the beginning of the book,) this is good for putting together phrases. You don't have to figure out what order to put the words in, because the phrases are grouped by subject. Great helper for basic communication. It's kind of like an easy slang. But learning the pronounciation is not easy. They make it look like it's in English in order to facilitate translation, but the letters in English that look the same, are in fact not at all necessarily pronounced the same in Tagalog.
