I splurged on about fifteen .99 and under e-books at random and just finished reading this one. What a neat surprise. Funny when it wants to be and full of great suspense too. Great, well-defined characters. And the dialogue is just top notch. Seriously some of the best banter I've read. The two main characters reminded me of the show Moonlighting. Kind of like Moonlighting if those two were thrown in to a case with real danger and psychopathic people. Very much recommended if you like good suspense with some romance in it.

After reading the first few pages of this book, I was not impressed. I always try to finish any book I start, so I read a few more pages and then a few more, then I was not able to stop. This was an all together excellant read. It has humor, romance and a great mystery. I was rather upset when one of my favorite characters was murdered, it only helped a little when his death was vindicated and his killer was caught, but this book would not have been as good, without these events. I loved the bickering between the two lawyers and the underdog getting the girl, as well as becoming a hero. The female lawyer was full of vinegar, spice, sugar and everything nice. The whodunit was a puzzle for a long time, which was nice. This book is for mature readers and I highly recommend it. AD
