"You are so wrong for me."

Levi had to agree—he was. He was leaving Chicago in a few short weeks. He didn't do commitment—ever. But everything about this night, this girl, was so good. So right. Until at 11:59 p.m. she got out of his bed, got dressed and left!

What had he done? Things had hardly started

Reviewed by Desere Book provided by the author for review Review originally posted at Romancing the Book I have long been a fan of Mira’s books as they are always filled with little surprises that spice up the plot. In Never Stay Past Midnight, the author had me laughing out loud at the antics of the ever lovable Great Dane, having two Great Danes myself I could relate to the hilarious things these type of dogs get up to. The dog was also the star of the show as he is ultimately was brings Elise and Levi back together after one wild night of uncontrollable passion. The author lets the “wild fling for now” relationship between the two very explosive characters develop to the point where it actually had me thinking this is it he is really leaving without so much as a glance back! The author like I mentioned had me laughing and she also managed to make me cry, which really does not happen that often unless I am really connected to a book. What I really loved about the book is that the author took me behind the scenes of the clubbing world, she takes us to the high level of stress the owners need to endure, the endless travel and even the flashy offices that have them looking down on the dancing crowd. I loved Elise and Levi both were really stunning characters each with their very own unique problems in live. The book is a must read for romance lovers I for one loved it to the point of distraction. Favorite Quote: Awwh baby your killing me.

I really enjoyed reading this book and getting to know Elise. She was a breath of fresh air and very relatable. There were definitely laugh out loud moments from the very beginning and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I look forward to reading more work from this author.

"Hm...."
A hoof rapped the freezing metal of the door, making it ding lightly.
Despite the darkness, the figure giggled, curly hot-pink hair bouncing.
The prisoner snapped back to concentration, tapping the soft faded pink hoof around the large door.
Bright blue eyes darted around, almost blindly, unseeing in the pitch darkness of the room.
The hoof tapped the metal a few more times before the other forehoof joined it, tapping out a faint, happy rhythm, oblivious to any danger impending upon the figure.
A faint hum joined the rhythm, making a quiet, but slightly harmonious sound.
The prisoner forgot the prison and began stepping around the small space, eyes closed, in a different world.
Once, the figure's thoughts wandered back to the present prediciment at hand.
"Nah." It reassured itself. "They can do it without da' Pinkie Pie..."
~~~
[ Ooh.... da Pinkie.... This one was hard... :/ ~ Moone ]
