NIGHT FLIGHT is simply the finest flying story ever written. How is it that St. Exupery has been all but forgotten since his wonderful stories appeared in the 30s? This book is a one-sitting read, with beautiful, breathtaking imagery. The flying sequences are so vivid that the reader feels as if he is experiencing them firsthand. His characters exemplify St. Exupery's view that the primary purpose in life is to do what is expected of you, to fulfill the mission, as it were. When this book is completed, turn to WIND, SAND, AND STARS for another remarkable read.
