Suzie doesn't need the slick instruments that so many artists require these days. Her voice is a powerful and distinctive instrument that she uses to deliver an album full of fabulous music. This album reminds me of the albums that were released in the 70s, where every song was a unique gem. Every note played by every one of the carefully chosen instruments on this cd results in a lush distinctive sound. The haunting melodies and lyrics stay in your head all day and night. I've given this cd to over a dozen people and every one of them absolutely loved it. I also highly recommend Suzie's earlier album, Sleepy Little Sailor, released on Catamountco.com label.
