A very timely acknoweledgment of an artist who influenced the course of Tarot study forever in England and America. This set really is a dip into the art/life/times in the 19th century. I enjoyed all I learned about Pamela Coleman Smith's life and times, I enjoy having A.E. Waite's _Pictorial Guide to the Tarot_, but there was nothing in the set I treasure more than the old reproducion deck! It is like something you might have come across while rooting in an old trunk in your grandmother's attic. They did a splendid job aging it, and the card stock is thicker than that of the Univerasal Waite deck that I have. I love the Wild Rose backs on the cards. Overall, this is a great honor to P.C. Smith's memory, and Stuart Kaplan and the design team at U.S. Games deserve commendation for what they did with this set.

It's about time Pamela Coleman Smith got this credit for the beauty of the most famous tarot deck in existence. Beautifully presented and the tarot deck is lovely and fascismile of the original. The only thing I don't care for is Waite's book which is included as a reference to the cards' meanings. Well worth the price.
