Bought this book to start getting back strength, flexibility, and just get healthy after having a baby. Simple to follow and goes through different levels. Warm up and cool down exercises. Exercises for specific sections of the body. Overall really helpful for anyone beginning pilates to intermediate and advanced. Highly recommend giving it a try. Also, my favorite thing about the book is that the pictures are normal and not inappropriate. You know what I mean.

Picked this up to get started. Simple instructions for the beginner. Good explanation on the positions. Motivational comments throughout. Continues with more difficult positions and exercizes.

She walks you through every aspect of the movements, including how to hold your head, back, etc. I really enjoy the exercises in this book and many of them are different than I've seen elsewhere.

This book and DVD helped me get back in shape after two babies, one a c-section! Much more effective than regular crunches. Denise is very motivational, which is half the battle when it comes to exercise. May she never retire! I highly recommend her pregnancy book/video as well

Pilates for everybody has helped me so much. I find Denise to be very motivating and the moves are easy for anyone to do. I usually avoid exercise at all costs but this has really helped me to enjoy it.

I love how easy to use and inspiring this book is. The captions and photos make it easy to do even the hardest moves.

I am very impressed with Pilates for Every Body... Denise is incredibly encouraging and down to earth in this book. The three week body makeover is the most realistic and satisfying plan I've ever tried... starting with the beginner's Pilates (which you are supposed to do until you feel stable enough to move on)and now in my third day of the three week plan, I can already see a real improvement in my body! I can't wait to see the results after the entire three weeks.

I have the DVD for on the road. It's decent, but takes some getting used to because she doesn't explain very much and some of her moves seem to be added only to fill time.
