I LOVE Ty and Avery. They are very real. Although, Ty is a little too good sometimes. I loved how things happen to these two and they just kind of work through it. I think Avery's character struggles with being consistent. Why does she think that keeping her pregnancy a secret from him is a good idea? I understand that she's human, but she's supposed to be the best professional in the business. She's a publicist for heaven sake. She was supposed to have dealt with Trey's crazy 5 years of drinking and sex and Trey slept with his ex-wife and finds out that his girlfriends pregnant the next morning scenario in book 1. These seem much much crazier than Ty's situation. She dealt with those with no problem. I don't understand why she can't figure out to run some background reports on her aide and Ty's wife/HS girlfriend to get the dirt. When each situation arose, she should have had a personal breakdown and the looked at it rationally like the professional that she is. She should have been figuring out how to work these into Ty's image. She should have been fighting fire and with fire when the wife showed up.

I started out reading the first book because it was free and now I'm down to the last two books in the series. I just love all of the characters. There is just enough drama to keep me interested but not frustrated. If you don't like to read about rich and beautiful people you can skip these books. If you enjoy a short sweet romance with just the right amount of sex then you will most certainly like this book. I sure did!

From book 1 to book 8 I became part of the family. The author did a great job of bringing you from first generation meeting, marrying, having children and the children growing and living their lives. Was very easy to switch from one book to the next. I am sad to leave the families I have grown to love, and whom I shared heartbreak and their happiness. I love Cheryl Douglas books
