This is the first book that I read that gave me great insight into understanding ADD. I really appreciated how the author was very welcoming, almost as if you were sitting in his office as his own patient. The book had many stories of his own patients (many of which I related to), and he didn't just focus on children with ADHD, as many books do. He highlighted patients of all different age groups, which helped me greatly. It is very detailed with diagnostic procedures, and other medical research, which reassures the reader that he knows what he is talking about. I recommended this book to my twin sister as the first book she should read so that she could better understand this disorder.

A great book on ADHD. The authors are obviously very knowledgeable on their subject and their insights taught me things about ADHD I didn't previously know. Highly recommended!
