I loved this book!! I am a runner and not a very good one at that. I do not do marathons but I run 8K and 10K's and want to try a half. Cami inspired me so much with her will to get up and moving. I started running as a way of coping with many challenges in my life. A bad marriage, divorce, low self esteem and I overcame so much from running and so did she. I trained while reading this book and went from running a 10K in 1 hr and 7 min to 53.32. It is possible to overcome!! Amazing read.

Cami's story is heart-warming and inspirational. She takes you along on her past of hardships and trials to her renewed insights and adventures. I enjoyed following Cami's quest of running a marathon on the 7 continents. She made me believe that we can all get a "Second Wind" and accomplish our dreams no matter what our age.

With all the running books profiling male athletes, it's easy for us female runners to feel a bit ignored. Cami Ostman's amazing story resonates with me on so many levels. Middle-aged, divorced, slow runner - those are just a few of the commonalities that drew me into her journey. I hope she writes a sequel! Truly an inspiring story for any runner who found running later in life.
