The subject content is simple and powerful enough- Let go of self-defeat and release inner strength- but I didn't find the book very helpful at all somehow, mostly because of the 'inverted' writing style. One example (page 77), '...DON'T be AFRAID of NOT having something to do...' I had to re-read and even translate a lot of these cryptic-like statements throughout the book, and I'm currently re-reading the book to see if I can understand what Mr. Finley is trying to say. Get to the point. I recommend a used version of this slightly overpriced book, including other similar-content books, listed below, that have a clearer writing style- I found more helpful and useful.

This book is simple to read. It shows the reader how to remove himself from what may seem like impossible situations in a clear and easy to understand format. I have used the ideas in this book many times in my life and have shared the concepts with many of my friends who I thought could use some insight on how to make positive changes in thier lives. Basic and easy to understand writing.

This book is amazing, life changing. If you read this book and do not agree, read it again because you missed it. this is not self help... it's self realization.

I found this book to drive home the basic reasons for living a great life. It not a book about remembering quotes or lines, but about life, about what our false concepts are and how we easily forget the most simple and fundamental things that life is about. Life is complexed yet it drill down to it's simple yet easy to understand reason for life and our place in it. Each time I read it, I get some new insight that lifts me. I love it use of simple examples, and stories. This to me, make it more enjoyable, instead of a fanatic race to seek an specific answer to troubling problems or questions. (Which is why we so often miss the cure.) Some books guide you to fix, solve or understand certain problems. This books makes you understand it's not the specific problem that you need to fix or a life changing event you must decide that you need an answer for, it's you, who have been duped by the crazy desires and needs of life, and all it's wants and needs which you are lead to believe, you must have in order to be fullfilled and happy. Anyway, just a great book that brings living into simple and understandable terms, which tries to bring you a inner peace and happiness which life really is waiting to give you when you look to the right places. A must read ! Jack
