Seeking Kokopelli is an interesting story centering on a man turned out by his family because of his homosexuality and a man trying to recover from the loss of his wife. To make their situation even more difficult, there's a bit of paranormal influence that might drive them apart just when they find each other. To make their situation even more difficult, there's a bit of paranormal influence that might drive them apart just when they find each other. Adam James is the hot lead singer for an up and coming band who's adored by women but prefers men. Out of fear for his band's future he keeps his true feelings to himself. Afterall, the last time he admitted to being homosexual it got him kicked out of his home. But keeping his feelings hidden is getting harder the more time he spends with his band's roadie Nate McKenzie. Nate's not ready for a relationship though since he's still grieving for his wife, nor is he ready to admit he's gay. But the more time they spend together, the more their attraction starts heating up. And as Adam is continually targeted for death by an unknown person, Nate realizes he can't live without him and gives into his true feelings. Will this be the end of the band once their relationship is discovered or the start to a long lasting love affair? And once Adam reveals to Nate his birthright of being Kokopelli to his people and his obligation to them to ensure their fertility, will he be willing to share him with others? This was a sexy story that was an enjoyable read. The relationship between Adam and Nate was very passionate and believable. I could understand why they were drawn to each other and was rooting for them to come together. Adam's bandmates were another wonderful part of the story. They were the family he never had and their brotherly humor brought them even closer together. There were a few things that didn't work quite as well for me. The first thing was the villain. I didn't find the villain particularly evil, he/she was more pitiful then anything else. The ending too was a bit disappointing. It seemed very abrupt with no definitive conclusion. Neither of these issues took away from my enjoyment of the story. The love between Adam and Nate and the family they created with their bandmates made this a heartwarmingly good story.
