This is the second book I've read written by M. Powell. Enjoyed both. Funny. Informitive. Well written.

A friend let me borrow this when she found out I've recently become a Downton Abbey junkie. I love how the author fills the book with so many memories of her own life in service. I loved each of her little stories within the memoir. Oh, the scandal of it all.
