While nighttime is the easiest time to go unnoticed by other campers, some couples prefer to have morning sex on a camping trip. They feel more confident and attractive in the morning because they haven’t had a chance to get dirty and sweaty yet. Not to mention that on very active trips, they’re just too exhausted at the end of the day. If you’ve gone to sleep at sundown, you’ll probably be waking up very early anyway. It never hurts to put the time to good use. Making love in the morning also has the advantage of a bit of daylight in the tent. You’ll have an easier time finding what you need, and cleaning up after yourselves.

Tentus Interruptus
“There are some dangers when you borrow a tent from friends and you aren’t used to it yet. So let this serve as a warning to everyone—make sure you try putting up the tent at least once before you go out camping with it.
We started getting busy in the tent after a long day of hiking, and things were pretty passionate. My husband was on top and we were kissing like mad. There wasn’t a lot of space in the tent, I have to say, and when he tried to roll us over so that I was on top, he rolled us onto the side of the tent. I guess we didn’t do a very good job of putting it together, because somehow one of the poles popped out of its place! The end of the pole must not have been sitting properly in its little grommet. It was already getting dark when we set up our campsite, so we kind of rushed, and, as I said, it was a borrowed tent we’d never set up before.
The next thing I knew, I was on top of my husband, naked, and the tent was caving in on us. He didn’t want to stop, but I was laughing too hard to keep going. I mean, how can you have sex when you’re literally wearing your tent? At least there was no damage to the tent. I couldn’t imagine trying to explain what happened when we returned it to our friends.”
