Tala Green is a young indian woman who has known her share of problems, but refuses to be beaten down. Being an outcast from her tribe for doing what was right, she finds a job on Gaven McCloud’s ranch. Due to threats to the ownership of the ranch, Tala is talked into marriage in name only. Helping out her best friend who is great with child, she helps to keep the woman from being treated to a savage attack that would cause her to lose the child. Ultimately, it is the woman’s husband who is behind all of their problems and it is up to Tala and Gavin to see to it a resolution is found.
