Stash, by David Klein, stepped into the life of an every day suburban mom who one day decided to get a little weed from an old friend...harmless enough...so she thought. This book is an example of how one careless decision can have ripple effects that reach far beyond the intended scope. In Gwen's case, it seems one bad decision leads to another, digging her deeper and deeper into an a mess of personal and legal battles. This is a well written, fast paced book that keeps you turning the pages. It reminds us that you never know what dirty little secrets are kept behind doors - no matter how nicely decorated. Gwen got a little more than a little case of paranoia with her actions...she got a dose of reality as well. The question remaining is, will she learn her lesson?

I tend to read more chick lit but I was intrigued by the topic. Gwen went to buy some pot from her old boss and former lover. But the story is not really about Pot, even though the plot revolves around the consequences of buying the pot. It is about secrets and relationships. What we do that our spouses do not know about that endangers the life we build. It is also about the masks we wear on a daily basis. This book had a lot of depth and meaning without being too heavy. I could not put it down, it several suspenseful pieces that I wanted the "bad" person to persevere. I w0uld definitely recomend this to fans of womans fiction and chick lit.

Off beat from the typical housewife tale with many different and intriguing characters. This book pulls you in with several different view points from several characters that are all affected by the same gripping situation. Funny, deep, and thought provoking, this page turner kept me interested with its almost relatable content. I recommend!
