Storming His Heart

Storming His Heart

4.4 10
by Marie Harte
She'd give anything to lose control.

A Westlake Enterprises story

Storm Buchanan's talent for mind control comes in handy as an investigator for a private agency, but it's hell on her love life. Men bow to her every whim, so there's no challenge. Where's the fun in that?

Maybe that's why she can't trust herself around Rafe Savage. The smug, sexy, annoying

## The idea and the plot were good. I liked the heroine and the hero both. However, the writing was confusing. I didn't like the way it jumped around from one subject to another without a transition. One minute they were in her bedroom and the next they were in his condo. It didn't flow well which made it difficult to follow. Same with the dialogue. Not a fan of this writing style.

4.5 Stars Storming His Heart Storm Buchanan works for her uncle in the family business Buchanan Investigation along with her two brothers Thorne and Luc. With her special ability Storm is more than capable of taking care of herself but that doesn't seem to matter to her overprotective family. Rafe Savage is an Investigator for Westlake Enterprises and is extremely good at what he does but he isn't big on trust especially since the last person he trusted betrayed him and people got killed. Rafe seems to be continually crossing paths with the sexy vixen, Storm, pity she works for the opposition because she is making want to do things to her that he has no right entertaining. When fate strikes Rafe and Storm are brought together as someone wants both of them and is intent on catching them alive. With danger closing in around them both companies will need to join forces to protect their own and find the person responsible. As things heat up in the investigation so do the emotions raging between Rafe and Storm but will he open his heart and give Storm what she needs before it's too late. I really enjoyed reading this book it had a great balance between the investigative storyline and the romance never compromising one for the other. I highly recommend you add Storming His Heart to your TBR list you will love it.

'Storming His Heart' is book 2 in the Westlake Entreprises series from the fabulous Marie Harte. The main characters in this book are Storm Buchanan and Rafe Savage - who we were very vaguely introduced to in book 1 'To Hunt A Sainte' The characters, who work for rival investigation firms, have some serious psychic abilities. When danger threatens both Storm & Rafe they have to try to trust each other and work together to solve the mystery. We again meet Max Buchanan and Storm's brothers Luc & Thorne are more involved in this story. JD & Jurek from Westlake are also in on the action again. Full of intrigue, suspense, a good few twists, some well placed humour and smokin' hot sex scenes, 'Storming His Heart' is a really great read. Entertaining and engaging from the start, I thoroughly enjoyed the continuation of the Westlake Enterprises/Buchanan adventures and look forward to book 3, 'Love In Electric Blue' which is out very soon!!!! This series is one of my favourites and definitely worth checking out!!!!

I was completely hooked from page one! What a hot, steamy suspenseful Romance novel! Rafe and Storm's story was an excellent one! Not only did all of the characters have some sort of extra mental capabilities, Rafe and Storm worked for opposing companies, so they tried to fight their sizzling attraction to each! Things got extremely complicated when someone came after both Rafe and Storm! I was sitting on the edge of my seat, dying to find out what was going to happen but also there were several parts I found myself laughing out loud! I highly recommend this book!
