I tried this diet for a week and noticed I had tons of energy and lost 4 pounds. I'm going to try it again. Although I believe that the sucess of this diet has more to do with calorie restriction (so many things you can't eat because of the combo restrictions) than a magical theory of food combination. But, it definitely beats counting calories, in a way, it's very clever!!

My husband and I both started this diet and within 3 months I had lost 45 lbs and he had lost 50 lbs, without even execising. This diet works if you stick to it...and what's great is there is no calorie counting and you can eat as much as want!

I laughed so hard at my friend when she pulled this book off her shelf to cook me dinner... I am most skeptical about diet fads. And then I flipped through the book. These recipes are unique and brilliant. The combinations of foods SS puts in a dish are so simple yet nothing I've ever thought of before. I'm not concerned with losing weight, but I am concerned with eating healthy and I want to eat good food. I bought this book as a regular cookbook.
