In a secret bunker, one of the world's most dangerous terrorists is under interrogation-until he is rescued, and his captors are slaughtered.

Ex-MANIAC honcho Jonathan Payne vows revenge-but there is more to the bloody atrocity than terrorist reprisal. There is a plot in motion that will burn the world in the fires of holy war.

This book is an ok read. His later work in the series are fast paced and really quite exciting. After reading the others i can tell this is one of the earlier story lines. That being said, it helps line up the backgroung on Payne and Jones.

Very enjoyable read for people who like action/military type books. I definitely enjoy the relationship between the two main characters and would (and have) recommend it to anyone who enjoys these type books.
