An appropriate swan song. There are some mediocre songs and some great ones. All have the amazing harmonies and no one can listen to the album and wonder who is singing. Brian still has the genius and, "From There To Back Again," is sweet, nostalgic and one of the best Beach Boy's songs ever. Mike Love's vocals are essential to the album and he come through in great style. I have been listening to this album non-stop. You should too.

The beautiful and unbelievably still youthful sounding melodies that made the Beach Boys so popular (along with great songs) are all in evidence here. Listening to the CD takes one back to days of innocence, having a good time, and the pure joy of pop music in the California vein. Yes, the boys are much older and wiser than years ago these days, but if not for that this CD would probably not have come to fruition. When the chorus of the title track rings in, you know who is singing, and better yet, still realize the simple wonder of the power of music to elevate the spirit to a place where no other art form can take it.

Best Beach Boys album since the sixties without a doubt. The harmonies are just wonderful. You wouldn't think 70 year old guys could come up with something like this, but they did. My question is if they were able to come up with something like this now, what happened for the past 40 years??? The answer is they went back to their roots. The early Boys were all about harmonies and at some point after Pet Sounds they got went off in some odd directions with their music and kind of lost their base. Certainly the late Carl and Dennis Wilson are missed, but having Mike Love and Brian Wilson together again is great.

Great album. Yes, a few songs are mediocre, but who cares, it's The Beach Boys back once again. I listen to it over and over.
