I read about this book in an article in a Seattle newspaper and I was so intrigued that I ordered a copy right away. What a pleasure this book is! I brought it with me on a trip overseas and I was so inspired by the sketches that I bought some pens so I could start my own urban sketches. There is something magical about capturing images on a pen compared to just pointing and clicking with a camera. There is a lot to learn from the variety of sketching styles and the geographical reach of this book. I refer to this book often, and it is now my portable art gallery!
I can't recommend this book enough! A must have if you are planning on sketching urban areas. Nice helpful hints from sketchers from around the world.
