The problem with making a distinction comes when you try to turn your point into a line that encircles everything. The book is easy to read, and the author is particularly good at explaining clearly what professors often obscure with specialized terminology. But the further in the book we get from the original argument between the principles of Plato and Aristotle, the harder it becomes to keep the players straight. Still, worth reading and thinking about -- if you do both in equal measure.
