I am a student of the bible and use many resources for study. I have used the hardbound version of this commentary because of its reputation. Since this is a Nookbook, navigation is done through links. There are only 7 links. One for the table of contents (which is a several page list of links for every chapter of the Bible) and 6 (which correspond to the 6 volumes in the series). The problem is, for instance, I was looking for the 5th chapter of James. If use the Table of Contents, then I have to navigate through 12 pages to find the link for James 5 and because I use the smallest font - with cheaters :) - trying to hit the link was a bit challenging. If, however, I use the 6 links that are clustered, I only get as close as Acts and then need to turn 2100 pages to get to James 5. Which leads to my other complaint, there are no page headers, so you don't know what book/chapter/verse you're on by looking at the top of the page. As Nookies know, bookmarks also don't contain this info. One solution after I found the chaper is to highlight one of the first words and make a note that reads James 5. Having said all that, I keep in mind that I only paid $3 for it AND it contains the entire contents of the 6 volumes.

This would cost well over $150 if this was a physical book ... I know, because I had once purchased the 6 volume set from a used book store. To image that I can now buy this great work just amazes the mind. Note that this is the complete commentary and not the abridged one!

All Christians need to get this in order to understand EVERY single Book and Chapter of the Bible. At the price, this is a complete no-brainer.

Problems with getting the commentary to open up. The reader couldn't read it. Tech support had the same problem. Once issue has been corrected, can write a betterreview.

I got the Olive Tree Bible Reader app (check the Nook app.store, forget if its either free or under 2 bucks)- It contains the Kjv, Strong's, AND this entire book here, and the app crosslinks the verses in a popup window. Its awesome.

Lately I have not been able to open this application. It is a wonderful aide with studying the Bible if only I could open it. Maybe someone could help me with this.
