A have purchased this book many, many times. I wear them out. The last one I had was worn to a nub- with most of the a's gone and the pages loose and dog-eared. The special sections are lifesavers - I have become fairly expert on the gods and goddesses of ancient civilizations and never knew there was a bird called an argala or there were 12 distinct types of mice. The only drawback is that as I get older it is harder to read the small print. Perhaps if one were printed the size of a soft-covered book?

This is my second copy. The printing version was unchanged. This book is very valuable for people who don't follow modern stars of stage and screen. It also has sections devoted to Gods and Goddesses, colleges and universities, states and countries, etc. It could be updated by adding more recent information in many of the categories.

I remember the "Dell Crossword Dictionary" from when I was in college. It was bigger and better. It is now small, but has value for it's size. It's contents are well organized, but I wish it was again bigger and better. Tony Schneider
