The authors do an amazing job of dissecting the many missteps, dropped balls and outright stupid decisions that led to the massive fubar that Iraq has become. My only disappointment is that it is a little dry at times, not a "lively" read. Then again, the authors pulled together tons of research to create this book and it does get exciting when they take you inside individual incidents that occurred. It does a great job of explaining why we went in and why things turned out the way they have. Wonder if any of the Bushies will read it?
