Lamberson brings a fresh approach to a stale and trite genre. Humor, a certain morallity, action, and very likeable charcters. Often times his monsters have far more scrupulous behaviors than their human counterparts. Great reads for fans of horror fiction. Stephen King could take lessons. I started with the Jake Helman series and hope he continues. The frenzy series is equally enjoyable. Really fun, quick reads. Hope to be able to buy many more.

The ePub version I read had many typos i.e., Cabriel or Sabriel instead of Gabriel and brackets/parenthesis/"page __" (which did not match up to the actual page) inserted randomly that took me out of the story as I was reading it. Other than that it would have been a five star book.

I devoured this book! I loved everything about this book that read it in a few days. The book was well written and kept you wrapped in the story. Well paced and so not boring. I recommended both book 1 and 2 to my husband. I can't wait for book 3 to become available on Free Friday's.

A cop previously assigned to a desk job is called back to the street when several terrorist type attacks happen. What starts out as a covert op quickly becomes a man hunt for the wolf assassins. Man and wolf being on the same side. A few surprises and an ending that ties everything up satisfactorily.
