If you liked the scores to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, you may enjoy this fantastic score by Hans Zimmer. The music is full and soothing, something good for having on when reading or right before bed. I would also suggest getting the movie, directed by the brilliant Nancy Meyers. "Maestro" and "Kiss Goodbye" are beautiful songs, while "Kayak for One" and "Dream Kitchen" are a little bit more up beat. The liner notes are pretty good, and the performance and sound quality, excellent. Two Thumbs up for The Holiday Soundtrack!!

If you are in for "love", "romance" or just want to get "lost in the moment"....this is the CD to purchase. Every song is soft and gentle to the soul. The music will make you smile as your own thoughts wonder off to a more siren place and time. For music lovers who can actually get carried away...this is YOUR CD.

If you love the movie like I do, you will love this CD..It follows the movie and every time I listen to it, I think of the various scenes with each track. Zimmer uses instruments the way great singers draw you into their world with their voices.
