I read the free sample, and was interested in what was going to happen to the somewhat vague characters, so I bought the book for my Nook. Once I bought the book, it seemed that I was correcting spelling and grammar more than reading. I found myself wondering about the age of the writer. It was more like watching somebody else play a video game (someone that isn't very good) with undead, black oozing zits, whores, and goblins, chapter after chapter. After chapter 31 I gave up.

While I found this book engaging and action packed from start to finish, there were many grammatical errors that often pulled me out of the story. Other than that I think this is a great first novel by a new author and I would interested in reading his future works.

I liked the overall plot of this book and the character personalities were good if not a bit predictable. However the grammar and spelling was so bad it often times pulled me away from it and got really annoying. I was able to get past it and reach the end of the book which was good but seemed to wrap up pretty quick despite the arduous adventure of the cast. I also found it to be a bit more vulgar and raunchy than I was expecting in parts that didn't seem to fit well in the story in my opinion. The author did a great job of depicting the battle scenes as they were easily imagined in my mind. Like I said this book was a good read but an experienced editor would have been nice.

I liked this book. It was about 608 pages and pretty interesting. Though it did kinda shadow Game of Thrones, but I have an open mind. It does have some spelling and grammar issues but I really don't care about that sort of thing, I'm a reader not a teacher. Over all it was a good book but I wish he would have left an opening for a second.
