Stumbled upon this one and was glad I did! Enjoyed every word. My only complaint is Meggan Conners hasn't written anything else for Nook yet!

Meggan Connors hit a home run with this book. A wonderful story I simply couldn't put down. Wonderful, in-depth characters that sing from the page. Can't wait to see what she writes next.

I loved that the book was historical, but took place in the U.S. I felt transported to another time. The love scenes were beautifully written and sensual. I'm hoping to find out more about the supporting characters in the book, specifically about Claire and her husband, and James. I can't wait to read more from this author!

I grew up in California, and I learned much about its history, but Connor's historical take on life in the late 1800s enlightened me. The text is detail rich, and the story is engrossing. _The Marker_ is a highly sensual read, and what could be better than getting turned on while you learn? Love this book!
