I really enjoyed this book, its one of her earlier books and as a long time reader of Anne McCaffrey , it was up to par. I am nearly done reading it, just can't put it down. I love the way Ms.McCaffrey crafts her characters and makes the story believable.

A devoted Anne McCaffrey fan and it was great to re-read a shot series of her from long ago. It was great that it was condensed into one book from the original two books.

This book is for Teenagers through elderly who enjoy Fictions and mystery's. I would recommend this book for a book club discussion. Anne McMaffrey spins a tale of mystery in this book what will you do if you meet an alien. Will you run or stop and try and make friends. What if your friends try to kill you will you fight to stay alive. It is all here with McMaffrey's way of describing people and aliens you can almost see them and feel that they are real and you have to turn the page to read on very hard to put down. I have read several of Anne McCaffrey's books and I enjoy all of them,
