So many pregnancy books are filled with dire warnings, and worriesome stats. This was a book about practical things, like what do you really need when the baby comes home, what brands of clothes are pregnancy friendly, and what other women are thinking and doing when pregnant.
This book is excellent. When we found out my partner was pregnant i went to the library to check out pregnancy books, this was one of the books i found. I liked it so much that i have ordered it. My partner and i are expecting our first child (she is pregnant), and this book has helped me so much. This book has information on what the pregnant woman is experiencing and will experience. I love that she talks about what the husband/partner may be experiencing. It was great to realize i am not alone in the way i feel, and it was very helpful to know what my partner is and will be experiencing, so that i know what she needs. The other pregnancy books are good, but this book had the practical information and advice that i needed. I have used some of the information from the book, and can see myself and my partner continuing to refer to this book throughout the pregnancy. If you are looking for a practical, tell it like it is book for pregnancy, this is the book for you.
