Are you a junkie? If you are a junkie then there is simply no point in reading this review, purchase the dang novella already. If you are not sure what a junkie is, then I suggest searching for Scott Sigler's masterpiece "The Rookie" which is Book #1 in the GFL Series. This novella follows a character (Ms Davenport) from the GFL Series and simply expands the siglerverse for us junkies. Highly recommended to any fan of the GFL, can not recommend on its own but you'd be a fool not to look into this series.

This story, as with all GFL stories is well written with characters that you love or hate. Another great read from Sigler. I cannot wait till the MVP comes out!

As always when Scott Sigler is involved it is Epic, and it was a thrilling short story. Anyone who loves this genre should check it out.

The Reporter you love to hate stars in her own story. While fitting in the GFL Universe The reporter just didn't have Sigler-like Enthusiasm you see in other GFL stories. Mur Lafferty does a good job conveying Yolanda as a Lois Lane-like Reporter. But Her "I just report the Facts" makes Yolanda a little unlikable as she'll put the story first before considering the effects or consequences of her actions. She does get a sympathetic turn in her relationship with Whykor The Aware. She Really doesn't learn how to report responsibly even with her revelation in the closing pages. A Good and fun read otherwise.

I loved this novella. Scott kept me drawn into the story. I could not put it down. Whykor is my favorite quyth right with choto. If you need convincing with scotts work go to his webpage or check out his free podcast. He has free previews of many of his works. Go now stop reading this.

I love the GFL series and this book adds a nice background story for one of the characters in the All-Pro. Lots of action and surprises. Scott Sigler fans need to pick this one up.
