This is the second in the series and we find Mick Kline has turned his life around and is working with the FBI. Unfortunately he is trying to solve the brutal murder of his brother who we met in the first book. Yes,tragic things happen to really good people and we have to decide how our life will go on as do the characters in this story! Mick decides to go out on a limb to try and prove the connection to other cases involving murders of law inforcement officers and believes he is on the trail of a serial killer. However, no one else has quite drawn that conclusion and his supervisor insists that he takes mandatory time off to grieve his brothers death. He instead decides to pursue his investigation on his own and becomes involved with the only witness so far who happens to be blind!!!! Exciting and will keep you guessing until the end!!
