This book was very well written and thought out. French takes an in-depth look at the attitudes of men towards woman through-out time. You do not have to be a hard-core feminist to enjoy this book, simply one who enjoys seeing different points of view. A women of many talents, she pours her heart and soul into this well though volume of criticism at age old traditions and ideals. Excellently written and recommended to anyone of any age as educational reading.
