This is my second time through and I am loving and learning once again. This was the first book my spiritual director gave me to read, and i would also recommend this to you.

Aside from the Holy Bible, 'Theology and Sanity' is the most important book I've ever read. Sheed sheds so much light on the subject of God and the Church that one cannot come away from this work with the same perspective as before. Sheed is immensely instrumental in helping the Christian see God and His universe through the eyes of the Holy Catholic Church, what the author refers to as acquiring a Catholic intellect.
