I was so hooked on this book! So good! It was so exciting and so on-the-edge-of-your-seat type of a book. Wow, I was so hooked. I read like, 100 pages in one day! This story definitely shows the power that love has more than any other book of his I've read. Its amazing. I've heard it said before that you can't fight evil with evil. You fight evil with good. I guess I never gave it much thought before, but it is so true. This book will prove that its true. A very very excellent book.

This is Ted Dekker's fourth novel and in my opinion his best to date. It's the sheer thrill of watching the way the author weaves spiritual truth into this roller coaster ride that impressed me most. The ending is completely unpredictable and the journey to that end kept me on the edge of my seat. Easily rivals the best fiction. And at its core it's a story of deep love to boot. All of Dekker's books have a clear voice -- strong characters facing impossible odds, grappling with spiritual truth -- and Thunder is no exception. Heaven's Wager, When Heaven Weeps, and Blessed Child were stunning. And Thunder surpasses them all!
