I personaly would not recommend this book to my friends or the audience. One of my reasons why i dont recommend it is becuase in the beginning it discribes the characters in the book but the auther spent to much time discribing the characters in the whole beginning so it gets boreing in the after a while. The second reason why,is because in some parts of the story the plot goes to slow. It goes slow becuase in some parts there's no action. Instead of that the characters in the story do things that you would do everyday. The third reason i have is that in the book there's not that much excitement. Most of the parts in the book end up with tragedies. For example in one of the parts the dog(Trueno) ends up getting shot by the guards becuase the African-American boy's father was apprehended by the sheriff for stealing a ham to feed his family becuase they were poor. And the boy's dad ends up in a long sentence on a work gang. Those are the reasons why i dont really recommend this book to my friends of to all you viewers.
