    parents beware!

this book is about 3 girls who do absolutely nothing except talk about boys, sex, and drugs. This is not the book you think it might be. Not for tweens or even early teens unless you and your girl are way ahead in talking about adult issues and themes. written very raunchy and nothing worthwhile inside. a waste of time for young people, who need to start learning about the real world in a completely different way. this book is part of the problem, emphasizing what's wrong with society - it's all about sex and drugs and drinking.

12 year olds having sex and drinking?

I was utterly shocked that this book was in the 'Teen' section. My 12 year old brought TTYL home and I ran out to buy the next in the series thinking it would be just as good. Apparently I was wrong. Although I believe that discussing sex and drugs is extremely important, glamorizing it to an age group that is highly influencial is another. Myracle apparently feels that you're only a 'cool' parent if you drink and allow your very underage child to drink with you. I guess it is also very 'uncool' to be grounded for being arrested buying pot and having sex while your parents are supposed to be gone for the night. My 12 year old now thinks I'm very uncool because I won't let her read this book, but at least she won't think that being a sexually active, alcoholic pothead is the right path to go down in her life. Shame on the parents who think this is a great book for their early teen girls to be reading.

    trashy to the extreme

i would never reccomend this book to anyone. i enjoyed its prequel, ttyl, and was expecting something just as good. i was dissapointed when i realized that this was no longer a breakthrough, but just another teen girl romance novel. for parents looking to buy their daughters a good book, don't do this one. the characters, though very realistic, are not good role models for young pre-teens and teens.

    Parents, be carefull

My child got a uncorrected proof copy of this book and I did not approve of it. This is a very inappropiate book. A girl smokes pot, someone gets their labia pierced and they swear on every page and a lot more. Be carefull!
