Overview

This book examines the process of urbanisation in Zimbabwe from two perspectives, namely: theoretical/historical issues before providing detailed information on selected cities in the country. In so doing, it fills an information gap, which has existed in Zimbabwean geography literature since Zimbabwe's independence in 1980. The book comprises fourteen chapters written by various authors from the Great Zimbabwe University in Masvingo City as well as the University of Zimbabwe in Harare.
